Cesar Silva
Director
Cesar Silva has been involved in the non-profit sector for over 25 years. He has served as a missionary and pioneered development projects with international organizations such as Open Doors, where he developed a sustainable farming system in South America. He has also developed educational plans for marginalized communities and human trafficking prevention initiatives, and has managed protection programs for at-risk children.He volunteered at Moshav Had Hasmona in Israel, where he gained insight into cooperatives. Additionally, he volunteered in London, England, with a program serving the Hispanic community at the London Christian Community.He studied theology and missions at the International Bible Institute of London and is a graduate of the Haggai Institute in Maui, Hawaii. He has worked to equip nations by training leaders across Spain, Europe, and Latin America. He has also been involved with other organizations in Charlotte, such as Speak Up, and has served as the director of Derek Prince’s Hispanic ministry in recent years.
Alexa Silva
Co-Developer, Administrator
Alexa Silva earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences from the University of Florida, with a minor in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership. Alexa has coached basketball across a wide range of youth age groups and has mentored children from diverse backgrounds, age groups, and learning styles. Over the past six years, she has taught at all levels of education and brings a breadth of leadership experience gained through work with various nonprofit organizations globally. Her goal is to cultivate leadership in others, empowering them to achieve their future aspirations and create meaningful change within their communities. Not only has she been a teacher, but a college planner, case manager, and consultant in sustainable development. Alexa has worked with nonprofits for over 10 years. Her work is focused on establishing sustainable development in countries like Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. In addition, she specializes in design, programming, and development.
